I love origami. I loathe origami diagrams.

Inevitably the final step is something simple like “Turn over and unfold,” or “Pull left wing down,” followed by an irritating “Ta da!” or “Voila! Now you’ve completed your first frog/star/crane/butterfly!”

If I’ve made it that far, my “butterfly” is probably a rumpled mess of paper with no discernible “left wing.” This is when I get feisty and break out my bad language.

Origami is always written in some impossible moonman language. My husband and oldest kid are origami whizzes, which makes me think that perhaps they are not really human.

My husband and I make origami also. We had the bright idea of starting a web site and selling origami. Now we sell a lot of origami to everyone all over the world. You can see what we make and sell at Origami Trim. Most people buy origami roses. If you want to sell your origami online, you can put a link on our website, or we can even make a website for you. Thank you.
