The butter is softening as we speak

July 15, 2008

The first two posts I read last night (from Orangette and Beck’s Kitchen Party blog) tested and reviewed this recipe, with varying degrees of favorable results. What are the chances of that? Obviously, I need to make these cookies right now.

Hee! Do you have the schmancy chocolate chips the recipe called for? I desperately want to hear how they are.

I don’t! I’ve got some bittersweet chocolate, though, and I think that’ll do the trick. Can’t wait to taste the results!

I have heard so much about this crazy recipe – not just from Beck and Orangette either, but from cooking blogs all over the US! I would love to try it, but seeing as we’ll be out of town day after tomorrow, I will have to wait until next week. Let us know how they turn out?

Also, thanks for your comment on my last recent post. Even though I have never met you in person, you are a very dear person to Jason and I and you always seem to know the precise thing to say. Thank you…

I thought I had the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe but these sound amazing! Salt on top… why didn’t I think of that?
